Ketchup Rice Recipe

In this video, I will show you how to make ketchup rice in Japanese style. This recipe is great for kids and is great for people who can’t eat spicy food. You can make this dish for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, or for whenever hungry. Hope you will like my easy recipe today.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 small yellow onion, diced
100 g cooked ham
250 g cooked rice
1/4 teaspoon salt to taste
1/3 teaspoon shiitake mushroom seasoning powder
A little black pepper
60 g ketchup
60 g grated cheese of your choice

Instructions
1.Heat the cooking oil in a pan on hight heat.
2.Once the cooking oil is hot stir in the diced yellow onion and diced ham for about 3 minutes.
3.Add the cooking rice. Stir the ingredients together until the rice is hot.
4.Season with salt, shiitake mushroom seasoning powder and black pepper.
5.Add the ketchup (tomato sauce) and stir the ingredients together.
6.Transfer the rice onto a plate and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
7.Microwave the rice until the cheese is melted for about 30 seconds, 560 Watts.
8.When the time is over, remove the rice from the microwave. Enjoy!
